Anna Lepke replied 2 months ago Thank you, kcranmer. Glad you liked it. Sometimes even i can find the right expression. Just have to think about the "right" persons and concentrate and than ... ;) King Douglas wrote 4 months ago Totally intense. My immediate reaction (long having been a student of psychology) is how the traumas of childhood can persist into adulthood, although masked or hidden, perhaps. To me, this is a courageous and inspiring image. I also like the way the light falls on the face, neck and torso. Exceptional work. Anna Lepke replied 4 months ago Glad that my illustration made an impression. When the title was in place the image made sense to me. Thanks for your nice words. Means a lot to me, coming from you! PS Thanks for adding it to your album. :) Thomas Ljungberg wrote 4 months ago The intensity of the expression is really strong! A little disturbing to watch... it's hard to meet that gaze... /Thomas Andrew Stewart wrote 4 months ago This is very intense Anna. Like Koen, it is the emotions on the face that make it for me. Koen Pieters wrote 4 months ago listening to your lies... and slowly falling apart. find this so intimate and unsettling. it's the face, with that mix of pain, despair and anger, which one so often feels when someone you care about stands before you and just keeps on lying. painfull photo Anna Lepke replied 4 months ago Thank you, Koen. You pretty much nailed it down. Nothing more to say. ;) Anna Lepke replied 4 months ago Yes, Daria. And thanks for your advice and support. You encouraged me to get bold and look where it got me. ;) (Thanks for adding it to your album.) Patrick Desmet wrote 4 months ago I have seen your work in screening :-) ,,,,,,pro ! very good work Anna well done !! Jacob Jovelou wrote 4 months ago I really like this Anna, especially the facial expression :) This kind of editing is hard to get perfect, but the overall feeling in this work is good enough to compensate for that. Hope for more stuff like this. Cheers. Anna Lepke replied 4 months ago You're right, it's hard to get perfect. - I started on that image to find out how i would look without hair. Just for fun. But than it turned out to be more serious. I like that I got so much more out of it. Thanks for your opinion, Jacob, I really appreciate it. |
