One wonders what aliens would think of this if they landed here to see this without more information. Of course, I don't even know what it is. My first thought was swimming lanes at a pool, now I think not. I'll scroll down to see what I can find...nope, no help. So are these docking berths for small boats?

Thanks King. Your first thought was correct, but you scrolled down too far. They are "The swimmers blocks at Merewether Ocean Baths - saltwater swimming pools cut into the rock shelf"
