Pretty much my extended backyard. This is on the slopes of Mt. San Antonio, better known as Mt. Baldy near my house in Claremont, CA, USA. This is along the trail to San Antonio Falls and is about a 20 minute drive and a 10 minute walk from my house.

Small world, I'm from the Inland Empire. Good shot. It can be hard to find a stand of trees without fire damage and it looks like you have have, good find.

Thanks Martine, it was a special morning, overcast with just little breaks of sunlight. They were very fleeting because the wind was blowing pretty good.
