Koen Pieters wrote 5 months ago terrific ! wasn't this one in screening very long. Seems to me I voted for this last year lol. Got to love the pov, allthough it is not quite as good as the one where it looks as if people are pushing the tower straight again lol (shallow me :-) ) Fulvio Pellegrini replied 5 months ago You are right KOen: I asked for some informations yesterday after 8 days of screening. It is a fighter shot :-))). At last we are here..Thank You very much for your encouraging comment. However I was on the left side of the tower not to favour its crash:-)) F. Martin Gremm wrote 5 months ago This is another excellent use of textures and a refreshing take on this familiar landmark. A almoust apocalyptic scene.. Love the structure in the overlay, it gives the sence of ancient building, and it is, so for me its a true photo. Love the tone and the stunning angle and perspective. Great job Fulvio! / E King Douglas wrote 5 months ago I would like to be the first to say that the tower appears to be leaning! :>) I love everything about this photo, not least because I have been to that historical place and absolutely love Italy. The textures and tones of this image also resemble an aquatinted etching...have you familiar with the process? I love the look of hand work, drawing and chemical processes at work here. So how do you like the D3? It seems a shame to degrade the image quality so much in this image, but that is beside the point. Excellent...congratulations. Fulvio Pellegrini replied 5 months ago Thank you my dear friend. As you know the Tower in Pisa is a very famous subject for many photographers and trying to find an original POV was so difficult. In this case the postwork seems to add something new, too. About D 3: I love that dangerous engine. Sometimes, as in this case, it gives me the possibilities to start from a very high-quality and large file to improve some artistic attempts in CS3. The rest is a lucky result :-))) Thanks again F. |
