Great mood and feel to this. I really like the way you have captured the feeling of the work.
Thanks Andrew, I am happy that you see it this way ;)

This is like a beautiful painting! -Juha
What a beautiful comment - thank you Juha :-)!

This is gorgeous...I love it. I suppose the blacksmith as seen it??? He must also like it very much. A Nikon D3 could have captured this without the blur, with more shadow detail and less noise, but wouldn't have 5% of this quality.
"I suppose the blacksmith as seen it???" -´ sorry King, I don´t quite understand the question? Could you rephrase it please?
There are surely several cameras that could have taken it the way you mention too, but even with a different camera I probably still would have shot it the same way ;) As imho a technical clean picture wouldn´t be able to deliver the same mood I was trying to frame - which of course was enhanced a bit through editing too.
Thank you once more for your kind words!

Jörg,
I'm sorry. There was a word I didn't type correctly and I made my comment less easy to translate. I'll try again:
Did your subject, the blacksmith, see this photo? Did he like it? I think he should like it.
This photo is excellent just as it is - no technology would make it any better. It is a work of art.
I should have figured the missing "h" out, but was probably to tired to think that evening. Thanks for answering ;) and no, the blacksmith has unfortunately not seen it, as I don´t know him personally. It was taken at a middleage festival held i Copenhagen this weekend.

It really captures the sense of his working environment!
Happy to hear so Dominic as this was a part of my intention with this shot.
Tank you! ;)
